Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Columbia, SC is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team, providing in-home hospice care to patients and support to families during critical moments.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, On Call 4:30 pm - 8 am. Territory includes Columbia, Lexington, Eastover, Hopkins, Ridgeway and Winsboro. We offer a comprehensive benefits package with health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, 401(k) match, and a hands-on onboarding program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required or preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR experience.
• CPR certification (as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine.
• Provide Empathetic and Heartfelt Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure accurate records per agency and regulatory standards.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families Caring for terminally ill loved ones.

As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$75,000 - $85,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
