Beebe Healthcare in Delaware is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with facility policies and the Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will lead in areas such as triage, education of patients/families, and mentoring of staff while coordinating with leadership to maintain safe workflows and high-quality care. This role requires a current Delaware license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma or RN Degree Program required.
• RN - Registered Nurse license from the state of Delaware or Compact State.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Triages patients and uses clinical judgement to implement nursing interventions in a timely manner.
• Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the State of Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.
• Acts as a preceptor and mentor for other licensed and unlicensed clinical team members and completes education and competencies.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates an identified plan of care and coordinates care delivery.
• Administers medications according to policy.
• Collects and analyzes assessment data to identify diagnoses and outcomes.
• Communicates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
• Advocates for clients and supports staff and policies to promote safety and efficiency.
• Models Beebe Healthcare mission, vision and values.
