Qualifications

  • Active RN license required.
  • COHN or COHN-S preferred.
  • Open to training, education, and certification for DOT testing.
  • DOT collection certification preferred.
  • DOT Breath Alcohol Technician Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in patient care services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expertise and counsel to client companies in occupational health, safety, and workers' compensation.
  • Establishes and maintains networks with stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
  • Implements nursing standards and reviews practice in occupational and employee health.
  • Maintains liaison with client companies for continuity and credibility.
  • Maintains current written policies and procedures to minimize risk.
  • Schedules medical screenings and reviews labs, radiology and exams prior to employment.
  • Coordinates annual health assessment programs and provides immunizations per CDC guidance.
  • Assists with injury/illness management and return-to-work initiatives.
  • Coordinates with departments to ensure service continuity.
  • Performs patient care with emphasis on safety and reducing errors.
  • Participates in hospital safety and infection control committees.
  • Manages KSWebIZ documentation access for immunizations.
  • Plans facility or equipment changes to deliver new or covered services.
  • Collaborates with HR & CFO on budgeting for personnel and supplies.
  • Aims to measure and improve quality of care delivered to clients.
