Job summary

Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in Occupational Health Services to provide clinical care, regulatory support, and health screening for employees, students, and affiliates in a high-volume setting.

The role requires a BSN, NY RN license, BLS, and 5+ years of nursing experience, preferably in occupational health. You will support return-to-work, medical surveillance, immunizations, and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and Cority.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Active NY RN license with current registration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of clinical RN experience
• Experience in Occupational Health/Employee Health preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct POPP evaluations and annual medical surveillance per regulatory requirements
• Support return-to-work and fitness-for-duty processes with documentation and coordination
• Perform respirator fit testing and vision screening per OSHA standards
• Administer immunizations and medications with proper documentation and patient education
• Triage and manage work-related injuries and exposures with timely evaluation and follow-up
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and Cority
