Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in Occupational Health Services to provide comprehensive clinical care, regulatory support, and health screenings for associates, students, and affiliates in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports employee clearance, manages workplace exposures and injuries, and ensures compliance with OSHA, CDC, DOH, and internal standards, delivering confidential, respectful care while coordinating with HR and operations.

Qualifikationen

• BSN degree required.
• Active NY RN license with current registration.
• BLS certification required.
• 5+ years of clinical RN experience; Occupational Health/Employee Health preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform POPP evaluations and annual medical surveillance as required.
• Support RTW and fitness-for-duty processes with clinical documentation and coordination.
• Conduct respirator fit testing and vision screening per OSHA standards.
• Administer immunizations and medications per protocol; document and monitor post-administration.
• Triage and manage work-related injuries and exposures with timely follow-up.
• Maintain compliant documentation in EPIC and Cority.
• Monitor vaccine and pharmaceutical inventory; ensure proper storage and handling.
• Collaborate with physicians, HR and operations to support health clearance and compliance workflows.
• Participate in health education and prevention initiatives to support workforce safety.
