Job summary

Business Health Solutions, PC is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Coordinator (RN) to support clinic operations at host sites. You will assist the Occupational Health Manager in supervising clinical services, health assessments, and case management for employees, contractors, and clients.

The role emphasizes clinical care, surveillance, and emergency response with collaboration across client teams.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Tennessee
• BLS Certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent desirable
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing desirable
• Experience in Medical Surveillance / Workers Compensation Case Management
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 3–5 years of nursing experience
• 2–5 years of occupational health nursing preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, and Workers Compensation regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment and interventions within RN scope
• Evaluate employee fitness for duty after work-related injuries/illnesses
• Provide first aid/triage and return-to-work clearance
• Perform required screens and credentialing
• Provide pre-employment and annual physicals
• Educate employees and collaborate with client staff
• Lead or participate in client projects
• Provide medical surveillance support and health assessments
• Interface with hospitals and emergency providers for continuity of care
• Manage injury/illness case management per client policies
• Promote client wellness programs
• Maintain clinical documentation in EMR and paper records
• Handle administrative tasks (faxing/scanning/copying, phone support, supplies)
