Job summary

NCH Healthcare System in Naples, FL seeks an RN Obstetric Scheduling & Clinical Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and evaluate obstetric services in the Women’s & Children’s Pavilion. You will liaise with obstetric providers, leadership, and departments to ensure safe, timely care and efficient patient flow.

The role requires clinical competency in Labor & Delivery, obstetric scheduling, and teaching, with a focus on continuous process improvement and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Labor & Delivery OBED experience.
• Florida RN license in good standing; NRP, BLS, ALS and STABLE certifications required.
• Strong scheduling, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Competency in fetal monitoring and obstetric assessment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of inductions, cesarean deliveries, and outpatient obstetric procedures.
• Review scheduling requests for completeness, indication, gestational age, and timing.
• Maintain scheduling records and communicate additions, cancellations, and conflicts.
• Provide direct patient care in OBED when needed and circulate obstetric cases as required.
• Collaborate with obstetric providers, nursing leadership, and other departments.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives related to obstetric scheduling and patient flow.
