Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric nurse experience.
• BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required; inpatient obstetrics certification preferred.
• Florida RN license required.
• Strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint skills; excellent communication and customer service; ability to work independently and in a team; high confidentiality.

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:00:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$28.83 - $38.92 / hour

Summary

Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support the coordination, continuity, and quality of care for obstetric patients across the perinatal continuum. Focuses on care coordination, patient flow support, and operational assistance to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered obstetric services.

Requirements

Education:Associates degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an obstetric nurse.

Certification: BLS (American Hearth Associate/Basic Life Support) required. Certification in Inpatient obstetrics preferred.

License: Florida Registered Nurse License Required.

Other:High-level skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must be able to work independently and with a team, with a high level of confidentiality. Some skills in researching evidence-based practice. Use of patient safety tools required. Knowledge of Obstetric/Maternal Services policies and standards of practice. Member of Association of Womens Health and Neonatal Nurses preferred.
