Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking an experienced RN to join the Women’s & Children’s Pavilion as Obstetric Scheduling & Clinical Coordination. The role plans, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care, including inductions of labor, scheduled cesarean deliveries, and outpatient obstetric procedures, while maintaining competency for direct patient care in Labor & Delivery and OBED.

You will serve as a clinical liaison among patients, obstetric providers, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, nursing

Competenze

2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery OBED required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida.
NRP certification within 90 days of hire and maintains.
BLS certification required from Red Cross or Heart Association.
ALS certification within 6 months of hire and maintains.
STABLE certification within 1 year of hire.
Cardiology certification within 60 days of hire.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of hire and maintains updates.

Mansioni

Coordinate scheduling of inductions of labor, scheduled cesarean deliveries, and outpatient obstetric procedures.
Review scheduling requests for completeness and compliance with policy.
Escalate scheduling concerns when outside criteria.
Collaborate with providers, nursing leadership, and other departments to align with unit capacity and patient safety.
Maintain accurate scheduling records and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Participate in quality-improvement initiatives related to obstetric scheduling and OBED operations.
Provide direct patient care when census requires and within scope.
