Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Observation Unit. This full-time role (36 hours weekly) offers day shifts from 7am to 7pm with eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $25,000 for experienced external applicants.

The Observation Unit provides quick turnover and varied cases; new graduates are welcome to apply. You will perform direct patient care from admission to discharge as part of a collaborative on-shift team.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or RN license via compact state.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with on-shift team to meet patient/family needs.
• Perform duties in ED Observation Unit with varied cases.
