Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department Observation Unit. This full-time role offers 12-hour days (7am-7pm) with weekend rotations and holidays as required.

The unit handles patients staying less than 24 hours, providing care across chest pain, arrhythmias, and other conditions. Excellent benefits and a sign-on bonus are available for experienced external applicants.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS for Healthcare Provider certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with on-shift team to meet patients' needs.
• Support and document care for ED Observation Unit patients.
