Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in a Observation/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Mesa, AZ. The role involves comprehensive assessments, continuous monitoring of patients, coordinating care with physicians and the healthcare team, and administering treatments and medications.

Qualifications include an RN license, an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and BLS; ACLS is preferred or required per facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed interventions safely.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in condition and emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control and safety standards.

Job Summary:
Provides nursing care to patients in an Observation/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including patients requiring close monitoring for acute or changing conditions. Performs comprehensive assessments, administers treatments, monitors patient status, and coordinates care with the healthcare team.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

1–2 years of PCU, observation, telemetry, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Experience caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
