Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit role. This position provides care for patients needing telemetry monitoring, intermediate level monitoring, and timely interventions.

You will monitor vitals, administer treatments per orders, assess patient status, educate patients and families, assist with mobility, and document care in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS certification (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of med-surg or telemetry nursing experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry and vital signs to identify early signs of patient deterioration.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and unit protocols.
• Performs ongoing patient assessments and communicates changes in condition to the care team.
• Provides patient and family education on disease process, medications, and discharge planning.
• Assists with patient mobility, activities of daily living, and safety precautions.
• Documents care provided and patient response in the medical record.

Education & Experience
