Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role. You will provide specialized nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, monitor cardiac status, and coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients with complex conditions.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1–2 years of PCU/telemetry or acute care experience. Strong communication with patients and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing; 1–2 years PCU/telemetry or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.

Performs comprehensive assessments, manages treatments, monitors patient status, and coordinates care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of PCU, step-down, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PCCN certification preferred.
