Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH, seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department, part-time, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. This onsite role provides direct patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and education from admission to discharge.

You will maintain accurate records, uphold safety culture, and participate in required certifications (BLS/ACLS within 90 days; PALS/NRP as needed). Sign-on bonus eligible and opportunities for growth exist in our cutting-edge facility.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required by time of hire.
• Diploma or ADN in nursing.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.
• BSN preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, detailed reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers for best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Support a culture of safety and respond to incidents as needed.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter and position attributes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
