Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care on the Nights shift. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing or ADN, OH RN license by hire, and BLS/ACLS within 90 days (PALS and NRP as applicable). BSN preferred; two years of clinical experience is desired. A $12,500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or ADN from an accredited school.
• RN license in Ohio by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days (ED, PACU, Infusion); NRP within 90 days (OB).
• BSN preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to achieve best outcomes.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Support a culture of safety through prevention and response.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter; may require longer hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
