Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for OB/GYN coverage in Machias, ME, on a 13-week assignment with night shift hours. The incumbent will provide holistic, patient-centered care on the OB unit and related areas, following nursing processes and collaborating with the care team.
Requirements include 2+ years in acute care, valid RN license, current BLS/ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation and STABLE, plus COVID-19 vaccination per state mandate.

Description:Independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the OB unit.
Demonstrates clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.
Independently performs general and unit-specific clinical skills.
Performs the functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
Responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Practice.
Implements and evaluates age-appropriate care of all patients in the department, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-operative gynecological patients.
Manages supplies and equipment and promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of the unit and other hospital departments.
Adheres to hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA.
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation.
Possesses effective communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrates computer skills.
