Job summary

Paramount Care Centers is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekends and across all shifts. You will coordinate total resident care, provide professional supervision across units, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative abilities, deep nursing knowledge, and the clinical judgment to handle complex situations while ensuring quality care and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and valid RN registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Prior nursing experience in a long-term care setting is required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is required.
• Must provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning and evening rounds to assess resident conditions, prioritizing critically ill residents and ensuring care plans are followed.
• Verify daily staffing levels, redistribute personnel as needed, and reinforce training and orientation for nursing staff.
• Partner with Charge Nurses daily to exchange information regarding admissions, discharges, transfers, and resident well-being.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies, including changes in resident condition.
• Review incident reports for accuracy, participate in resident care committees, and assist in the facility's Quality Improvement Program.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and sanitary environment; monitor meal services for nutritional adequacy and resident satisfaction.
• Perform medication passes and provide direct resident care as needed to support the team.
