Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor for the Cheektowaga skilled nursing and long-term care community. You will lead clinical operations, supervise nursing staff across units, and ensure high-quality resident care during your shift.

Collaborate with the DON and ADON, maintain regulatory readiness, participate in QAPI, and support a patient- and team-centered culture in a post-acute setting in the Buffalo area.

Qualifications

• State RN license in the applicable state and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year in a nursing leadership role
• Interest or experience in geriatrics
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with dementia population desirable
• Regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise nursing care services and personnel across assigned units; conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance; monitor resident conditions and communicate changes.
• Staff Support & Operations: Coordinate staffing and assignments; provide coaching and feedback; ensure documentation and workflows are completed; support shift-to-shift communication and teamwork.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain CMS standards and nursing regulations; assist with infection prevention and safety initiatives; participate in incident response and QAPI efforts.
