Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor for the Cheektowaga skilled nursing and long-term care community. You will lead clinical operations, supervise nursing staff across units, and ensure high-quality resident care during your shift.

Collaborate with the DON and ADON, maintain regulatory readiness, participate in QAPI, and support a patient- and team-centered culture in a post-acute setting in the Buffalo area.

Qualifications

• State RN license in the applicable state and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year in a nursing leadership role
• Interest or experience in geriatrics
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with dementia population desirable
• Regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level

Elderwood at Cheektowaga is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This is an important leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing care delivery during the assigned shift, supporting nursing staff across units, responding to clinical and operational needs, and helping ensure exceptional resident care and service excellence.

Our subacute rehabilitation unit serves patients transitioning from hospital to home, including individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, orthopedic procedures, and cardiac conditions. The nursing team supports complex clinical needs that may include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound vacs, complex wound care, ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination.

You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and ADON, with additional clinical resources available through Elderwood Administrative Services. Facility clinical leadership receives organization-wide direction from the Chief Nursing Officer and support from an assigned Regional Nurse Consultant.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:

Clinical Leadership

• Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned units
• Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff

• Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery
