Elderwood at Wheatfield is seeking a compassionate RN - Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing care across units, respond to residents' requests, and supervise staff on shift.

This full-time role offers competitive compensation with pay differentials for evenings, nights and weekends, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with match, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualificações

• RN license current and in good standing.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience with at least one year in leadership.
• Interest or experience in geriatrics.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Dementia experience desirable.
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly to residents' requests and supervise nursing care on all units on duty.
• Promote facility safety programs and infection prevention as needed.
• Oversee nursing services in the absence of leadership.
• Coordinate care and supervise staff to ensure quality Resident care.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:

• Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.
• Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty.
• Actively promotes facility safety programs.
• May assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse.
• Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Skills/Competencies

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:

• Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Interest or experience in geriatrics
• Current BLS/CPR
• Experience with dementia population desirable
• This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
