Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an RN - Nursing Supervisor in the Town of Wheatfield, NY. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $42.50 to $53.30 per hour, with additional benefits including 401K with employer match and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Possession of a state license in applicable state as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience and at least one year in a nursing leadership role.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty.
• Actively promotes facility safety programs.
• Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the director.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:

• Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.
• Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty.
• Actively promotes facility safety programs.
• May assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse.
• Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Skills/Competencies:

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:

• Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Interest or experience in geriatrics
• Current BLS/CPR
• Experience with dementia population desirable
