Job summary

Echelon Care and Rehab in Voorhees Township, NJ, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to coordinate total resident care across nursing units. You will supervise clinical staff, ensure compliance with professional standards, and direct nursing operations under facility policies and state/federal regulations.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current NJ RN licensure, and long-term care supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in the state.
• Experience in the nursing field.
• Supervisory experience in long term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution.
• Collaborates with charge nurses daily on resident care and transfers.
• Makes rounds to assess resident condition, with emphasis on critically ill residents.
• Ensures that nursing care plans are followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and/or direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing personnel.
• Responds to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Maintains safe and sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Ensures building security during evening/night hours per protocol.
• Reviews incident/investigative reports for accuracy.
• Monitors meal service to ensure resident nutrition.
• Assists in Quality Improvement Program development and implementation.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality service with compassionate care.
• Performs other duties as requested.
