We are hiring an RN Evening Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Waterview Villa in East Providence!
Shift is 3p-11p. Full-time and part-time openings, including every other weekend. Weekly pay!

As the nursing supervisor, you will oversee the total nursing care activities during your shift under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to ensure high-quality resident care.
Experience & Education:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in this state.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related healthcare setting is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
- Develop, update, and communicate residents' care plans.
- Ensure staff implements care plans and recognizes changes in resident status.
- Maintain current resident care plans.
- Follow physician’s orders and provide or assist with nursing care, treatments, and dressings.
- Accurately transcribe physician’s orders.
- Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive nursing notes.
- Monitor residents on alert list and conduct RN assessments as needed.
- Report unusual findings and contact physicians when necessary.
- Administer medication if applicable.
- Initiate emergency procedures when needed.
- Oversee Charge Nurse and CNA performance.
- Foster positive relations with residents and families.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Specific Requirements:
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong assessment skills.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Effective communication with personnel, residents, families, and external agencies.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations related to long-term care.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Ability to plan, organize, and develop care programs.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and the ability to handle difficult residents.
- Effective communication about residents’ conditions and emergency situations.
