The ICU Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for 24‑hour administrative oversight of all critical care nursing services. This role provides leadership for patient care delivery, staff supervision, and departmental operations while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
The ICU Manager is a visible, hands‑on leader who rounds daily, supporting staff and monitoring care delivery. The position works in consultation with the CNO/DON to address clinical issues, interpret policies, and ensure patient needs are consistently met.
