Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing / Staff Development Coordinator to join the nursing leadership team on Martha’s Vineyard. This dual-role oversees nursing services, staff education, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations to ensure resident-centered care.

The role emphasizes coaching, education, and leadership to develop nursing staff while ensuring high-quality care and survey readiness in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living experience preferred.
• Experience with staff development, clinical education, orientation, or competency training preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS requirements and Massachusetts healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON in planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services.
• Supervise staff with leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and clinical standards.
• Monitor care quality and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate staff education, orientation, and competency assessments.
• Support survey readiness and corrective action plans for staff education.
