Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Silsbee, TX. This full-time role requires leading the Nursing Department, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.

The DON will plan, organize, and direct nursing operations, provide strategic leadership, and drive quality improvements across the facility. The ideal candidate has an RN license, at least 2 years of supervisory DON/ADON experience in SNFs, and

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the relevant state
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience as a DON/ADON in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
• Experience with survey readiness, Plans of Correction (POCs), and quality improvement
• Demonstrated leadership skills to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
• Direct and support nursing staff in safe, effective, and compassionate care
• Oversee comprehensive care planning with interdisciplinary coordination
• Uphold resident rights and ensure timely communication with physicians and families
• Lead regulatory surveys, investigations, and corrective actions as needed
• Manage recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure readiness for audits
