Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Silsbee, TX seeks a Director of Nursing Services (DON) to oversee clinical operations in a Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes. This role requires a seasoned RN leader with SNF experience and survey readiness.

The DON will lead the Nursing Department, drive quality initiatives, and coordinate with administration to maintain safe, compassionate resident care and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience as DON/ADON in an SNF.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Experience with survey readiness and Plans of Correction (POCs).
• Demonstrated leadership to coach and develop nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Direct and support nursing staff in safe, effective care delivery.
• Oversee comprehensive care planning and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Uphold resident rights, including dignity and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and responsible parties.
