Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH is seeking a PRN House Supervisor to oversee nursing operations across varied shifts. The role reports to the VP of Patient Care Services and supervises RNs, LPNs, OR techs, and nursing assistants to maintain patient care standards and department efficiency.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, hold an OH RN license (or compact), and have BLS; ACLS within one year is recommended for certain shifts, and PALS is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate nursing service into the organization’s primary functions, and attain the organization’s Mission.
• Coordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services.
• Develops and implements Nursing standards and procedures that guide and support the provision of services for the nursing department and the hospital.
• Recommend a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care, including treatment.
• Continuously assess and improve the performance of care and services provided.
• Understands the principles and steps of problem solving and acts as a resource to others in problem identification and resolution.
• Supervises RNs, LPN’s, operating room technicians, nursing assistants, clerical support personnel.
