Qualifications

• Must have a current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and address medical, health, and safety needs of clients.
• Provide training and authorization for non-licensed staff.
• Document client-specific medical needs and interventions; maintain progress notes.
• Monitor medication regimes, medication records, orders, bubble packs, and MARs.
• Conduct caregiver and staff medication training and skills observation.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages 24/7 with nursing directions as needed.
