Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during each tour of duty in a long-term care facility in Rockford, IL. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and coordinate with the DON/ADON as applicable.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, updating procedures, and coordinating with care plans and committees to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2 years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Direct nursing service operations in accordance with regulations.
• Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Coordinate with committees and the resident care plan process.
• Meet with shift staff to plan services and ensure quality of care.
• Attend to admission, transfer, and discharge activities and report findings.
