Job summary

Maplewood Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for long-term care. The role offers full-time, part-time, and per diem options with shifts across 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid PA RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing staff and ensure residents receive high-quality care per care plans and state regulations.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs.
• Mentor new hires and provide ongoing training and education to staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Respond to emergencies with timely and appropriate interventions.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
