Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, New Mexico healthcare system, seeks a Nurse Recruiter Registered Nurse to lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff.

This role partners with facility leadership, HR, and academic institutions to build a strong nursing pipeline and ensure alignment with VA mission and patient care standards. Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies (ACEN/CCNE).
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the U.S., or equivalent.
• VA recruitment experience and familiarity with VA hiring processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to build candidate pipelines.
• Serve as clinical advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning and staffing.
