Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Leader for the Bone Marrow Transplant/Cell Therapy program at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. This full‑time day shift (0700–1700) role coordinates staff, resources, and patient care to maintain high-quality service across the Med Surg unit.

BSN required with 3 years of leadership and 5 years nursing experience, including transplant cell therapy. Strong governance, communication, and evidence-based practice skills are essential; the position

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 3 years of leadership experience in nursing.
• 5 years nursing experience including Transplant Cell Therapy/Bone Marrow.
• Transplant Cell Therapy experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain productive staffing and scheduling patterns.
• Evaluate care quality using standards and outcomes.
• Develop service strategies and monitor patient satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with patients, families, staff and other departments.
• Promote evidence-based nursing and practice improvement.
• Support governance and staff development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in budgeting and operational planning.
