Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner to lead the Bone Marrow Transplant team. The role blends enhanced clinical responsibilities with administrative leadership to support cellular therapies and transplant care in a high-acuity setting.

The position offers a 0.75 clinical and 0.25 administrative split, four 10-hour shifts weekly, and weekend/holiday rotation. Board certification in a hematology/oncology-focused NP role is preferred, with Missouri licensure

Qualifications

Experience caring for patients with malignant hematologic conditions.
Leadership or management experience within hematology/oncology.
Experience with cellular therapy.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Missouri NP/RN licensure.

Responsibilities

Provides medical interventions for acute, chronic, and resolving patient conditions; telemedicine when applicable.
Performs procedures per policy, including informed consent and universal protocol.
Assesses patients, takes histories, conducts exams, prescribes medications.
Develops treatment plans and educates patients and families.
Provides clinical leadership to the BMT team; manages scheduling and staffing.
