Genesiscareers in Fair Lawn, NJ seeks a certified nursing instructor to plan, develop, and teach a CNA training program. You will monitor students in classroom and clinical rotations and help orient and mentor staff for the CNA program.

The role requires an RN license, at least two years of geriatric/long-term care experience, and培训 adult-education facilities with BLS/CPR compliance. On-site role with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience in long-term care/geriatric nursing.
• Must complete a course focusing on teaching adult students or supervision of nurse aides.
• Must maintain current BLS; CPR certification required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, implement and teach a CNA training program.
• Monitor and evaluate CNA students in classroom and clinical rotations.
• Direct/assist in orientation/mentoring for the CNA training program.
• Round in all patient/resident care areas to ensure quality CNA services.
