Job summary

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, MS, is seeking an RN Night Supervisor to cover weekends (Fri–Sun, 7pm–7am) with required orientations. This 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for a wide age range and is part of a large hospital network.

Responsibilities include planning, directing and evaluating care, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with treatment plans and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in Mississippi; demonstrates strong mental resilience, ability to manage multiple priorities, critical thinking, attention to detail, and initiative for change, with 1–3 years of nursing supervisory experience.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting, current licensure as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi, and 3–5 years of nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, evaluates direct and indirect care to patients on assigned shift.
• Assists in development and directs patient program and schedule to ensure all elements are satisfied.
• Supervises patient teaching, ensures individual treatment plans are followed and documentation is complete.
• Assists Chief Nursing Officer and Clinical Managers in policy planning, implementation and evaluation of staff.
