Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required for all Ochsner Magnet Facilities; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, starts IVs, and collaborates with care team.
• Organises, plans, and supervises patient care within the unit.
• Supervises staff nurses and technicians; supports evidence-based practice.
• Promotes nursing protocols and clinical practice guidelines.
• Manages shifts, staffing, and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Ensures scheduling, supplies, and resources meet patient needs.
