Collin Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in McKinney, TX seeks an experienced House Supervisor (RN) for the night shift. You will oversee nursing operations, supervise scheduling, provide direct care as needed, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice required.
• 1 year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• 1 year of leadership/management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensure quality general and psychiatric care.
• Supervise staffing and scheduling, approve/deny time-off requests, monitor attendance.
• Provide backup nursing and intake assistance; respond to patient needs and advocate for patients.
• Supervise operations when leadership unavailable; coach staff and manage performance.
• Conduct staff evaluations and disciplinary actions in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with department meetings and document attendance and minutes.
• Support the intake department as needed and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive nursing skills: assessments, treatment planning, admissions/discharges, medications, direct care.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation to support treatment goals.
