Job summary
AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for PRN night shifts to assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Requirements include Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), active RN license, and BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing required.
- BSN preferred; licensure as RN in the state.
- BLS certification required.
- 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG knowledge and computer literacy desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure safety.
