Job summary

Starlite Recovery Center in Center Point, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our residential treatment team. Open to RNs in San Antonio, and we offer night shift (6:00–6:00), a 3x12 schedule, and rotating weekends.

Join a facility focused on addiction and co-occurring mental health care with growth opportunities. You will assess, plan, and document patient care, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance abuse nursing is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available on hire).
• First aid may be required per state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Administer medications per physician orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.
