Job summary

Baton Rouge, LA – Our Lady of the Lake is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. Immediate start with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The RN will provide clinical care, engage in care coordination, and support patient education in a busy post-surgical unit.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, active Louisiana RN license with BLS, and strong English/communication and computer skills. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice and Care Management.
• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments and develops a plan of care.
• Plans discharge and education tailored to patient needs and family.
• Collaborates with health care team to ensure efficient care delivery.
• Documents all patient care activities per standards and supports quality initiatives.
