Job summary

Sacred Heart Hospital Lavonia, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Nursing Supervisor for a part-time, 12-hour night shift to lead patient care on the unit.

The supervisor will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, supervise staff, ensure quality, and maintain accurate medical records while following infection control and safety policies. Georgia RN license and BSN required, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia required.
• BSN degree required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum five years nursing experience; minimum three years supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously supervise staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Coordinates, reviews quality improvement monitoring, analyzes and evaluates staff to improve nursing care.
• Plans appropriate staffing patterns/schedules to meet patient care requirements.
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies according to Infection Control Procedures.
• Determines Safety Levels on assigned patients according to safety guidelines.
