Job summary

Mayo Clinic's Florida campus is seeking an RN to coordinate nursing care, deliver direct patient care, and educate patients and families. The role supports across practice settings and the continuum of care, including leadership in quality improvement and preceptor activities.

A subset may drive a personal vehicle as part of responsibilities. The position requires an active RN license in the state, BLS competency, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements. Arizona and Florida - Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
