Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN licensure by applicable state requirements; BLS/ACLS competency.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility to work variable shifts.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership within the nursing practice and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Mentor and teach colleagues; delegate tasks according to skill level and patient needs.
