Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care, and educate patients and families. The RN will support professional practice and lead quality improvement efforts across care settings, including precepting and mentoring others.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent nursing degree, state RN licensure, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, and strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and provide direct patient care.
