Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St James Hospital in Butte, MT is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the night shift on a 26-bed medical unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the health team, and oversee LPN/CNA support.

A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered where applicable. Minimum qualifications include a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years acute care), MT RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
