Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and coordinates with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.

Full-Time, 36 hours/week, Night Shift 7:00PM-7:30AM. Requires MO RN license (or compact), BSN preferred, BLS, and hospital experience may be required. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification at hire or within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and direct care givers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional accountability and quality outcomes on 5E Med Surg.
