Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Registered Nurse for Med Surg 5E at Mercy Hospital South in Missouri. The role covers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, full-time 36 hours per week, and involves direct patient care using the nursing process. You’ll coordinate with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Eligible candidates bring an RN license (MO or compact), BLS certification, and at least one of the listed nursing qualifications; prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an RN license.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and teams.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
