Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5W in St. Louis, MO. The role supports new grads and experienced nurses, with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and MO RN licensure or compact licensure. BLS is required within 30 days of hire; prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN, nursing diploma, or BSN.
• Missouri RN license or compact licensure required per state regulations.
• New grads welcome; hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of care and support for the Med Surg 5W unit.
